Civil Engineering

Civil Engineering is considered to be one of the oldest branches of engineering disciplines. A student of Civil Engineering can choose from multitude of career options like designing, superVision and construction activites of public works like roads, bridges, tunnels, buildings, airports, dams, water works, sewage systems, ports, etc. The career prospects in this field are enormous owing to the rapid growth of infrastructure facilities in the country.


Mechanical Engineering

The department has highly qualified faculty members with IIT/ NIT background, having long teaching and industrial experience. Excellent infrastructural facilities are available to train the students as professional Mechanical Engineers with focus primarily on innovation, analysis and development of technologies. To meet the R & D requirements, a new laboratory for material science and testing has been developed under MODROBS scheme. Besides, the department enables the students to conduct research on composite material. Our students have excelled themselves in various activities.


Computer Science

The department has highly qualified and experienced faculty members specialized in key areas of Computer Sciences & Engg. such as Website Designing, Operating Systems, Software Engineering, Advanced Computer Networks, Data Mining and Artificial Intelligence network security. The department has one of the best infrastructure facilities. It has state-of-the-art Computer Center with all laboratories having latest computers connected on LAN/WAN or stand-alone mode. 12 MBPS internet connectivity is available. The campus is having round-the-clock Wi-Fi facility. The department regularly conducts various seminars/workshops on the advanced technologies such as ethical hacking, advance socket programming, robotics etc.


Electronics & Communication Engineering

The department prepares students both for contemporary needs of the industry and for future technological challenges. The students are further trained to use modern software based analytical and design tools. All this empowers the students to comfortably take up any innovative or challenging job related to design, operation and maintenance of electronic systems, ICs, VLSI design, communications (analog, digital & optical), computer hardware, instrumentation, computer controlled systems, etc.
